wake designs tower

My new to me sunsetter has a wake designs tower on in. When we picked it up it had a lot of side to side movement in it. Ive since tightened up all the nuts and bolts but it still moves more than I think it should. My monster tower is rock solid. Is there something I'm missing?

Slap a star one tower on there. More solid than a monster tower, I would say most solid tower you can buy. We had 10 years of no issues on our 01, didn't move a bit. Our IX on the other hand....

I can't even find images of a Wake Designs tower.

Can you post pics of the joints and connection areas so we can give you ideas to stiffen or strengthen them? Usually towers-in-a-box have a lot more break down places so they can be shipped easier. Those places become an issue once the tower is installed. Welding, through-bolting, or using a different type of connector are your real options to save your current tower.

Otherwise pony up the $$$ for a new one like mentioned above.
