First time post here. We have owned an r20 and have 20 hours so far on it. we bought the boat because we were looking for a new wake boat at around 60k with the best surf wave #1 and great wake #2. Obviously it does not have surf gate or any other brands proprietary patents, but I will tell you we can get a really clean surf wave with a huge pocket and tons of push that I have not seen on any other 20 footer. For us the value on this boat is fantastic. It wouldn't be so much if we were barefooters or slalom skiers, but if that were the case we would have looked for another type of boat. To each their own.

The wakeboard wake is great, but certainly not the best out there for sure.

Also, the 5.0 is the base engine. You can obviously opt for more, but you'll eventually get the same price creep as the Axis.

Ok here I go guess I will jump in on this one ..... First off I am not a paying member on the site but check it all the the time, so go easy on me. Just sold my 08 VTX with 518 hours last week and really decided to look at other brands, wakes and see what cool stuff was out on the market. We mostly wakeboard but do some surfing late in the day and have started to more and more. Spent the whole day on a RZ2 surfing and messing with the wake so I really feel like I got a decent grasp of the product. Screen would freeze and had to keep restarting boat , ballast bags when filled to wakeboard pushed all the cup holders out of the upholstery, handled horrible, and the tranny felt like a tank. I have never been in a boat that was so wake sensitive one person moved and it was game over for the wake. Im sure there is loyal Tige people out there just like the Malibu line but my experience was that this line wasn't very well thought out for function and wasn't for me.
