Wiring schematic?

Recommended Posts

I'm getting ready to try to install a new ballast system for my 21 LSV. I ordered some 2 position rocker switched from Malibu... the kind that had two lights, one that illuminates if you push the switch at the top and one that illuminates when you push the switch at the bottom.

So I get these switches in the mail with no shematics or instructions. They have 7 connections on the back of each switch. I do have one of the switches already hooked up (by the dealer) in my bu that I might be able to take off and try to figure out where each of the wires go but I thought you guys might have a better explanation of how to wire them up.

Thanks

I take it you don't have a meter?

I've got one at home. If no one posts a schematic today I can look at it tonight and give you some info. What pumps are you running? One for drain, one for fill or one that needs reverse polarity to switch directions?

I'm totally guessing here but, the schematic I made should be complete.

All you'd have to do is probe the existing switch you have with a 12V test light to see which wires are positive and ground and when. All you're gonna have is either hot, or not, depending on the switch's position.

Good luck.
