need more info as to how you would use in order to make a recommendation.... do you put up and down every outing? how far do you trailer from storage to the ramp? how fast do you drive from trailer to the ramp?

general observations:

#1 is small, wont put out a ton of shade, but you live in MI and its only a VLX you are trying to shade...vs a 23 or 247 for ex.

#2 and #3 are the same correct? just #3 gives you a color combination option?

FYI #2 and 3 DO put out good shade because they are big... but are not the easiest and quickest to put up and fold away into the boot. The fastest guys on here can put up from stowed boot in about 2-3 mins... and about the same to stow away..... and if they did it that fast on a hot day they'd be soaked in sweat.

FYI I found it such a PITA doing the bimini thing in 110deg heat w/ #2 I just left mine up and kept my 15 min trailering speeds under 50mph and just kept it up all summer... never had a problem.

I did not have a Bimini on my last boat and it never seemed to bother me. So i am not quite sure how i will use it. I live on a small inland lake in Michigan and the boat sits in a covered hoist in the summers. I dont travel with it but maybe twice a year so trailering it will not be an issue. Just not sure if i will be wanting to put it up and down all the time depending on the time of day/weather/etc....
