Transferrable Hull warranty

Hey. I may be selling my boat. It's an '02 and I am the original owner. I seem to recall the lifetime hull warranty through Malibu could be transferred once for a fee or $400 or something. Is that correct? I don't want to make promises or claims to the potential buyer that are not true. I figured you guys would know.
