they were cheap as $20 and came up like new....hard part for me as this is a response was getting to them as the fuel tank was in the way but was well worth it......

sorry guys its just a sticker i got......$300 to do the wedge what a rip off did you ask why so much? i droped my wedge off late monday and got it back late next day and he said it was easy as to do.

No, I didn't ask why. But I've got no experience with polishing or working with a polishing shop. Gonna try another one or two.

before i took it in i gave the foil and arms a lite sand with a 3m striper just to take that coating off the foil and to make the arms smooth.

Did you dissasemble it first or drop it off complete?

I remember someone saying that using oven cleaner will take off the anodized coating, that's going to be my first try. I've got access to a high speed polisher and a bench & vise, so I might try that after the oven cleaner.

i took the wedge apart first and got rid of the anodized coating, didnt take long at all and the people that did the work said they diped it in some acid anyways.oven cleaner mite work.....

i bought that bimini off a friend who got in a 210 nautique , got a red strip on her and worked out how to have all mounts on tower looks cool and easy to put up az well

Yeah, looks great which is why I asked about it...mine has strap going forward which is OK because they are near the tower, but the backwards straps are totally in the way on the gunwale. I see a mod in my future.
