The 5.7 in my '89 Skier has always run really well. I've kept the maintenance up and she has run great. Until now. This past weekend I changed the water seperator/filter with the a new one (Sierra 18-7844), same exact filter that was on there before, and also cleaned out the fuel filter at the carb (Rochester quadrajet) with some carb cleaner. She ran great before this weekend, now she runs like crappola.

Does the water seperator need to be primed? Does the carb need to be primed somehow? It feels like she's running lean and stumbling due to a lean mixture.

Any thoughts are appreciated - thanks.

OK, what a dummy..... When I was changing out the water seperator/filter I knocked the plug wire off the #3 cylinder spark plug. All better now. Please disregard/delete!
