Fixed board racks vs. swivel board racks

Hey everyone. Just trying to gather some opinions on styles of board racks. I currently have fixed racks on my 06 wakesetter with illusion x tower. Was thinking about upgrading to the Titan spinner racks. The issue is I can get brand new fixed for $400 and the Titan spinners are $1200 (at bakes online). For those of you that have spinners, are they worth the extra cash or not? It's annoying to take my racks off everytime I put it in the garage and have to be so careful when pulling in my slip. Just trying to decide if its worth spending the extra money to upgrade.

Thanks,

Ryan

I say yes I will say I like Samson's rakes better the handle works much better than the button. Just my 2 cents also bakes has them.

Third option:

I put Titan Lift-Off quick releases on my 2006. They were much less expensive than the spinners.

I can take the racks off in just a couple of seconds, as I'm approaching my slip. Of course, there is the possibility that, if I ever make a mistake (its always two hands firmly on each rack as they come off), they're gonna end up on the bottom of the lake! Six seasons so far without a mishap.

On the other hand, my boat lives on a lift at a marina year round, and I don't have to worry about $1200 spinner board racks being stolen while I'm not there. With the Lift-Off

quick releases, the only thing that stays on my tower is the small mounting bracket, barely even noticeable to a would-be thief and totally useless without the mating plate that

stays with the board racks.

I have the push button spinners and probably spin them less than half the time for putting boards on and off. The button is a pain ( I would prefer a handle). But they are essential for docking on the lift with canopy. I can fit without boards but not with.
