adding to a 2001 wakesetter ballast

just wondering how difficult this is to add more ballast to the stock sytem instead of just the 1 stock in floor. to put sacs in the rear lockers and the bow would you need to upgrade the pump

Sounds like he has stock. I have the same boat. The only ballast you get is the mid ballast in the ski locker. If you want more you have to do it all. I'm about to sac out my VLX. I got two 750 kits from Bakes for each rear locker and am adding the W711 under the front bow. You can't do this off of your current setup. Leave what you have alone and add impeller or aerator pumps per each sac in the back.

LOL, if only it was tossing bags in and throwing in a bigger pump. There is a LOT more to it and a nice chunk of work and money to do it right (wiring, a lot of plumbing, mounting pumps, drilling multiple holes in your boat, etc.).

I'll close by saying go with reversible pumps.

thanks for the advice im good now though i was just looking at this boat but the guy ended up being realy unreasonable and ive got an offer on an 01 x star pending a water test instead
