carport clearance with tower

What is the average height of a Response with a tower on a trailer?

I know the height could vary based on model of tower or trailer. I need to get an estimate if the boat I am looking to buy will fit under my carport. It is a 2001 Response lx with tower on a High Tech Marine 3500 GVWR trailer. The carport is 10-12ft high. The entrance gable is about 8 1/2ft.

The good news is I can easily remove the gable.

This may or may not help both of us. But my 2004 Response Lxi with Titan I tower (WHICH IS FOR SALE) measures 9'1" tall on a Boatmate single axle trailer. With the tower collapsed it fits comfortably under my 6'11" garage door opening. I always collapse the tower, back the boat in, then raise the tower back up while it sits in the garage.

I don't know what you are looking to spend, but noone has made an offer on my boat yet. Check it out here under "Boats for Sale" if you haven't already seen it. I'm kinda anxious to sell because I have found a few Wakesetter Vlx's that I want to check into.

Thank you for the measurements. Your '04 is above my range of $12k-15k.

I measured my carport yesterday. The gable is 8ft, the inside is about 10 1/2ft measured close to the wall.

now I feel a little stupid….

I just noticed the Official Boat/Tower Height Thread. But it still does not have much Response height info.

I think that I asked the same question once in the past and someone led me there. But I looked before I answered you and noticed that there wasn't a good answer there for you.
