What is the stock 12" Rockford sub and amp in 2012 boats

Recommended Posts

FastFreddy

I know someone who is selling their OE 12" Rockford fosgate sub and amp from their 2012 Wakesetter. Just wondering what model number that would be and maybe some feedback.

Thanks

Have a look at my House Boat, I've listed my Rockford Fosgate equipment that came with the boat as a Malibu option. Look under stereo. I bought my 2013 TXi last Oct. 2012.

I bought this pulled the carpet water proofed and recarpeted the box. I liked the way it looked and the carpet was the wrong color anyway. Sorry if I hijacked thought you may want to see the box.

You're link didn't work. It is linked to the dealer locator. Can you repost since I'm curious on the box you used?

That sub looks awesome and a great value. How does that work being MDF and carpeted like that? Will it be alright in a marine environment or did you do something to it to make sure it will last?

Yes I pulled the carpet and painted with a rubberized paint and recarpeted.

Sweet! Do you still have plenty of leg room as the driver?

What do you have powering it?

Do alot of people complete their own system or have a audio store/marine do it?

FWIW, if you build a custom box for under the drivers helm with a kick plate similar to mine (see below), that follows the contour of the starboard gunnel, depending on depth and height, it probably won't fit built as one piece, even with the seat removed  Don't ask me how I've had to learn this 3 times now...

As you can see in the pic I have the gain knob on top of the speaker so I can adjust depending on the type of music. Hope this helps.IMG_0465.jpg
