Aluminum dock second level

Does anyone have anything like this? I live in a town that's lame and can't do the legit boathouse, so everything has to be temporary. I wonder how long it would take to assemble and disassemble every year (live in northeast, everything has to come out). This one is made by Hewitt Roll a Dock, which is what all my current docks are. Thoughts?

All floating docks are temporary. Just ask the folks on Lake Linear, they had some oddly shaped and placed decks a few years back.

The biggest issue I see with the proposed dock is the storage and the number of people required for removal installation each year. Ideally putting some temporary wheels on the floats and placing it in the driveway (call it a carport at that point) would be great but if the town is alread uptight that may just send them into a twisted nicker fit.

Sorry I should have been more clear, it won't be floating like the picture. My docks have wheels and roll in and out, with posts every 12-16ft. The town can't say anything if everything is temporary and goes in and comes out every year. I have a guy that puts my docks/lift in every year, so I could either pay him to construct this every year...and deconstruct. Or I could have him do the docks/lift and do the second tier myself. One full day of assembling and one full day of disassembling is worth the 6 month enjoyment I think..

I think it looks great and sound like a smart way of doing things. I will say I would make dang sure I got the one I want for a long time. I wouldn't think resale would be good. And if your going to pay someone to put it up and down so I'm sure they charge about the same price for most big sizes and if its buy the hour. Look at the ones that will go up the fastest may cost a few $ more today but save you money over the next 10 years.

Yeah I don't plan on the resale issue, and I'm sure its next to impossible to find it used. Hewitt already said they can do anything custom that I need. Right now I pay some guy $300 to put my docks and lift in, and $300 to take it out every year. He'll do it whenever the ice thaws in the spring, and right before it starts freezing in the late fall. That's the main part is the cold water. I could put the whole second tier up every year, unless I can find someone to give me a better deal than $150 per hour.
