G3 Diameter

Can anyone tell me the diameter of the G3 tube ? I'm just shopping for a mirror and need to know the size... Unfortunately I don't get my VLX until mid-march.

Are you talking about sticker shock with respect to the OEM mirror that Malibu offers? It's crazy eh? $500+.. That's what drove me to look at a mirror I currently have on my Moomba which is a Krypt polished aluminum mirror.

Will the Krypt work on the G3? It looks like its made for a 4 point tower, if you can get it working on the G3 that would be a great price.

Actually I don't know. I was looking at pictures and think maybe there's too big of a "gap" from where it would mount to the driver.... Hmmm... Maybe there's a reason the OEM mirror is so expensive :-)

Here is a link for anyone else that might come across this thread wondering what size their tower tubing is. DIY wake has this chart where you measure circumference, then cross reference to find out what the diameter is. Wouldn't work in wakeparadise's case though since you have to have the tower in front of you to take the measurement.
