Upgrade driver's seat

I want to replace the driver seat in my 00 SSlxi with one that has that fold up feature that lets the driver sit higher in the seat. I am tired of sitting on the back of the seat and my phonebook is not thick enough nor does it float. Any ideas?

You might look at some of the articles on wakesiderides. I think there was a booster seat retrofit project over there a couple of years ago.

As a quick fix you could use one or two throwable cushions. Gotta have 'em on board anyway.

The brackets run like $40, add another $10 for S.S. bolts, $5 for aluminum or plastic spacers.

Then you have to get a shop to recover your new split seat cusihons. ($-?) I had mine done by Chee at Malibu and he was able to match the stock covers. I think when it was all said and done the whole mod cost about $125. It was well worth it.
