Experience with touchless cover?

Anyone have experience with touchless cover. I'm in the market for something different. Love the idea of power winches and a power cover over the boat. I don't know if it will keep the "elements" out of the boat or does it still need to be covered while on the lift. Like many on this forum, I like to take care of my boat which includes keeping it pretty clean.

We have one on our free-standing FLOE VSD lift and absolutely love it! This will be our 4th summer with it and we've had no issues whatsoever. We have ours raised extremely high in the air on extensions, enabling us to pull the boat under it, and lift it all the way up without having to fold down the tower. The only time we cover the boat is if we know we're going to get a big storm..and it has to be a really big storm at that. Last summer I think the boat got covered 1 time. The thing doesn't leak at all and we've had no mold issues.

If we could do it over again, we would have gotten the longer sides so it goes all the way to the dock. Here's a couple pics of how it covers the VLX completely from bow to swim platform. Sorry for the horrible pic quality, my phone wasn't cooperating this day. Any other questions feel free to PM me!

A fellow here by the name cincyvlx may be able to chime in. This is certainly on my docket to buy when lake front is purchased. Seems like a no brainer as long as they don't rake you over the coals price wise.

I've got a Touchless Cover. Absolutely love it!!! The boat stays 100% dry underneath even in big storms. The only time I covered my boat all season was when we were going to be out of town for a week, so I covered it to keep the dust off (yes, it will still get some dust on it under the cover). Another great thing about the cover is that you can leave your compartments open underneath to dry everything out.

Where are you in Minnesota?? I talked to the dealers around here, and ended up getting a new dealer setup near me after having "issues" with the other guys.... If you're near the cities let me know and I can help you figure things out.

Here are some pictures of my setup. The lift is the new Pier Pleasure Hydrodynamic 6K lift. It's a hydraulic lift very similar to Sun Stream lifts.

Here's a picture from the deck during a rainstorm. Notice the water under the curtain is calm!
