Off to Loudon, TN for Factory Tour 2/11/13........

Hey guys, I'm driving to Loudon, TN today to overnight and tour the factory tomorrow. My "Black Betty" is in production as we speak, and I'm going to go see my VLX come to life. As I mentioned earlier, I was incredibly lucky to run into Jack Springer last Thursday at the STL boat show. He's hooked up a tour for me, and should have all access to the plant (like most people usually do). With that said, I'll be taking as many pictures of boats as I can.

If you have a boat in production at the factory, and would like some pictures of it. Send me a PM of your Email Address, Model and Color Scheme, and I'll try my best to find it in the factory for you and email you the pictures. I've devoted all day to touring the factory, and so I'll have plenty of time to find it, I'm sure....

You're going to have a great time at the factory tomorrow. My son and I went last February and it was nothing short of amazing to watch these things that we love so much coming to life. They were very gracious with their time with us; we were there over 4 hours. I probably took 300 pictures.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn in Lenoir City right beside the hospital. That's good to know in case you're still having heart palpitations from the activities earlier in the day :-). Also, there is a nice Malibu dealership, Great Wakes, right across the highway. As if we hadn't seen enough boats at the plant; we went over after dinner and looked at them some more.

If you are staying in the area a bit longer, I also suggest taking the short ride down to Sweetwater, TN and tour The Lost Sea Adventure. It's the largest underground lake in America and there are hundreds of acres of caverns. Well worth the time and admission.

We ordered a new 23 LSV in early December. I haven't got a spray date for it from my dealer but it should be about time. I will send you a PM with the gel scheme.

Have fun!!!
