swivels

[LSV Footin]

I need to get swivels for my board racks. I have a 05 LSV with a illusion tower, does anyone know who makes them?

Metcraft, through your malibu dealer, makes swivel racks now for illusion, don't know about others.

I do know that the new metcraft is a great improvement over the original version. It locks open, closed and removes easily.

Skylon makes them for the Illusion, but I wasn't too impressed with them at the boat show. If I had to choose, I'd go with the Metcraft but I'm also curious to see if Samson comes up with anything. I'd be very tempted to wait on that myself.

In any of these cases, do they allow for easy removal of the rack itself?? I have a tight storage opening and am always catching the racks... (luckily it's just a tent )

The metcraft removes super easy. Just swivel rack 45 degrees an lift up. simple

Continuing with that theme, do I need entirely new racks, or can the swivel mount be adapted to my existing racks? any ideas?

I posted this last week here it has pics of the nice racks. The're Solid when closed, my only complaint about the metcraft were that they move around a lot in the closed position, there not real sturdy.

You get what you pay for and if memory serves me right the metcraft and skylons aren't any cheaper.
