Air & lake temp display while on trailer?

Recommended Posts

Gregg97007

Quick question about air/lake temp gauges. My boat is on the trailer in my garage and the air reads 61 which is accurate but the lake reads 32... Wouldn't you expect them to be the same since its in the garage...thoughts?

It's a water sensor, so it needs to be in the water :)

Makes sense; so guessing 32 is default...

Gregg,

My VLX does the same thing. So it must be normal.

Congrats on the new VTX! Hope to see you on the river!

Fill your garage with water and see if the temperature changes.

The real question is, if the air is 61 why hasn't your boat seen the water ;)
