Windshield Upgrade Question?

Recommended Posts

rudybilt

I have a 2001 Wakesetter 23 LSV and need to know if a 2009 VLX windshield will fit on my boat. I'm sure I will have to do some mod's but I want to see if any one has any knowledge of this swap????

Thanks!!!

Looks possible since your top deck is relatively 'flat'.

There is a thread where a guy put a newer windshield on an older Skier:

I have searched and searched but haven't found anything on this yet. I did see that thread ^ but I was kind of hoping my boat was a close match to the 2009 vlx. Thanks for the reply!!

As with all things custom, someone has to be first.

Good luck! :salute:

I would think the side wings would fit 'ok' without too much modification.

Any difference in width could likely be compensated for by a custom center windshield section. You may need to do something like the '86 Skier I posted here.

FWIW, I think it would look good, and really update the boat.
