LED Lights for Bullet Speakers

My 2 Dogs

Recommended Posts

I just got back from the Sac boat show and noticed the LED lights from Warlocks. These are sweet!!! They are a spacer in between the the speakers and where they mount to. Each has to be run to a 12V is what they said. I love them but the problem is they cost $160/each not a pair but each! Cry.gif

sorry I don't have a picture but they stated this was huge in Texas so I am wondering if someone from the crew in TX has any pics to show.

anyone know of a place that does this for less? or anyone that can do it in the area? I want to change out the Sone X-plodes in my boat to the POLKS that are on my tower but if I go with the LED that would be $1,60 just for LED's! I can't just do the tower would look like there was something missing unless I did all the speakers. HELP anyone!

Those are nice but the ones that Warlocks were showing were a tube ring around the speaker. I wish I would have taken a picture. i forgot I had my phone in my pocket Crazy.gif

Imagine a ring around the can and the light there instead of in the speaker itself. he says what they do is seperate the speaker at the top, insert this ring of LED lights and then put the top back on. The ring is wider than the can itself so the lights go around the front of the can.

Crazy sweet! Surprised.gif

Ok went to the Wake Speciality site and the closest thing is the glow ring but imagine that around the bullet speakers. God I want them but the cost Cry.gif

I'd like to add LEDs to my cabin speakers - but I worry about lighting on the tower - tower/speakers. Could be confusing to other boaters on the water at night and definitely not Coast Guard approved.

Shocking.gifShocking.gif I forgot about that. I don't think the Coast Guard would think they're cool.

Kris at Wake Specialty told me today that there LED rings are much better than the ones I saw at Warlocks. SWEET. He also says they are an easy install. I hope so! Crazy.gif If he can get a great price I am on board!

Anybody have a picture? I don't want to comment too much without knowing exactly what the Bullets have in them.

I am working on a 'bu crew discount and the Sound Glow Rings will be included. Also working on getting a sample of the stainless cup holder that was in your group buy so I can make a glow ring for them.

The new oval badges are scheduled to be cut this week. Look for a picture soon.

Kris,

I dont have a picture of the bullets Mad.gif because I am dumb and forgot I had a camera phone in my pocket but he did state they were getting them from Houston.

They look like your glow sound rings but at the tip of the bullet speakers. Just an insert right at the top. If it was a mounted speaker just where it mounts to the boat.

Kris,

yes. That looks exactly like the ones they were selling but of course they were lit up in blue LED's. Right near the top as they had them. A spacer with LED's around the front.

I went to High School with the guy that builds those here in Houston Texas, I ran into him at the boat show next to the Malibu dealer and sparked up conversation and this is a side job for now but he is getting extremely busy. He does most of his work for Texas Radio. If you need me to ask him some questions let me nkow and I can talk to him.

Now I know what you are trying to describe - just not sure how to make that as an after-market item. The lights from Lucky Devil Designs are recessed into the tip of the enclosure.
