$60K for a used Axis A22?

I was at a dealer today in Bismarck, ND looking at snowmobiles and ice castles.

In the back corner of the showroom there was a 2012, demo (60-70 hours) Axis A22 pretty loaded up.

Tandem Trailer, tower speakers, etc. etc.

I was really surprised when the dealer told me he wanted $59K plus tax for the used boat; what the!?

I could swear at the MSP boat show a few years back that same boat was $40K (new).

Am I missing something here or is that boat actually worth $60K?!?

Have they made a bunch of changes to that boat over the past few years?

you could pretty easily option one out to be $70K + new, so $60k from a dealer for a demo isn't crazy. It had better have the big motor and a really nice stereo though.

Yes it does, my dealer said Malibu has raised pricing 10%+ over the past couple years... I have seen used 2012 vlx s going for $70k +..... seems crazy, but they must be selling them.

It's an ice house for fishing our frozen lakes in the winter months.

I think they run about $15K. My father-in-law bought one a few weeks ago; pretty sweet.

Now we just need enough ice to support the 4,000 lbs! I think 8-12".

Our ice can get beyond 48" thick on the right winter.

It's a super insulated trailer that lowers down onto the ice to spread out the weight (I take that just from the photos)?

Then, there is some sort of large hole in it to fish from?

Never seen this before.
