Should the flywheel be visible on an L96?

or it may have rattled off and has slid up underneither your gas tank or somthing.. seen it before.. but yes there should be 2 screw on the bottom side of your bell housing that hold that sheild on..

IMO no.. some people freak out and want it on ther but again IMO if you have anything rolling around in your bilge i wouldnt worry about it.. they have a tendancy of coming loose and then hitting your flywheel witch cause a very annoying sound and you think your tranny is going out.. its not water tight when its on there so by it being off dont do much either lol.

Where is it? That is the question. Just make sure it is not under the tank as mentioned, would not want it wedged in there rubbing a hole in the tank. (if it can fit, IDK)

The plate is not in the bilge and this is a TXi so the chances of it getting back under the gas tank is about zero.

So it either came without it or the previous owner removed it for some reason.
