Shower Question

Bass Lake Skier

Recommended Posts

I am installing a shower and after reading various posts I am wondering. Once the temp is set does anyone ever mess with the mixing valve. Reason I ask is if you never mess with the valve control once it is set I will mount the valve by the engine and only have a single line running to the locker mount the switch and viloa a clean install. Any comments on this idea?

My mixing valve is under the rear seat, just off to the side. You have to pull out the rear center cushion and the plastic tray to get to mine. We rarely ever change the mixing valve. Also, put your cold line into a raw water hose BEFORE the impeller. That allows you to use the shower without the motor running. I just moved mine this spring and love being able to use the shower without inhaling exhaust fumes.

your profile doesn't show your location.

if it freezes there you may want to access that mixer valve each time you winterize.

that may or may not be an issue depending on how often you winterize.

we ski till it freezes, winterizing each trip out.
