2012 LSV Bimini water pooling?

Hi,

Just changed my 2008 LSV for a 2012 and I noticed a significant amount of water pooling on the back portion of the Bimini. Is anyone else getting this problem? Did I put it up wrong?

Thx

Yep bad design.

To avoid water pooling and destroying your bimini:

Ensure those Velcro side straps are real tight, and ensure the rear poles are in their lowest position....push up on the center of the bimini fabric and slide a cheapie .99cent frisbee between the tow point and the canvas. That extra 3-4" pulls it all tight and creates a slope where 99% of the water will run off.

Keeping 5+ gallons of water sitting and stretching out your Bimini will certainly end it's life much faster. should have been designed with a natural slope to keep this from happening.
