Finally thinking about getting a pair of XM9's. Thoughts?

Ok, I've been around and around with my dad on this, but I think I have finally convinced him to get some xm9's, a harpoon amp, and a throttle box. Will we be able to hear the speakers clearly at 80'? What about with FAE?

Also looking for close range sound quality, do they provide that?

This should help. The answer is yes to all. I just did a search on XM9s.

I would also add this it will make the system much nicer just because you want need to cut the radio down when you stop.

What if you have FAE? It can't "hear" the engine can it?

(They) say it cuts down on engine noise by 50%. Keep in mind you still have WIND and distance.

Yea, I have it. It works fine for your music but I use Pandora all the time and I couldn't get it to work for me. I was told the two want work together.
