Well Gents... Kind of had a buzz kill on the boat front today. My wife and I have decided to purchase an investment property. Something came up that would be silly to turn down so for now my boat upgrade capital will be frozen. I am hoping to close in Jan and I really want to keep a decent chuck of cash around until I have a signed lease. I am still shooting to have a VLX by the time the ice goes out but the search may have to remain on pause until March-ish. Bummer is I would guess prices are going to start squeaking back up by then. I guess worst case I run my Skier one more year. Or even worse, I sell the Skier in the spring and see if I can find a decent deal on a VLX chancing not having a BU for a while.

Anyway, this will be better for everyone long term. I'll just have to keep drooling on VLX pictures for a few more months!

Well, I hope your investment property is waterfront...Then you can hook up with your new friends with their wakeboats and keep your Skier for stick-skiing...Good luck.

Negitive, just a smoking deal on a condo near my place. My neighborhood does have a private beach though. There are almost zero wakeboats on my lake. Couple other Ski boats but only 2 Wakeboats and I have to tell you, the owners are not exactily at the same place in life as I am....

good luck with mortgage on investment property. just purchased one myself (just closed end of oct was supposed to close sept 15th), the things they asked for on the mortgage were unbelievable considering i had 40% down

Its a condo, the current owners live there... I also need a month to do some work to the place.
