Trip to Atlanta?

It is a possibility... I actually called the dealership that is selling that 01 Blue and Yellow one in CT. If they can make the price work on that one I may go take a look. It has more of the options I am looking for with a tad more hours but is also WAY closer to me. If I can work a deal that gets the interior to where I want it to be for under 20K I am going to drive down and take a look. I'm thinking that puts me at paying 18 for that one. Which gives me 2G's to get the seat bottoms fixed up.

Time will tell, I'm supposed to be getting some close up pics of both boats. I'll post 'em up when I get them.

I've seen that one on boattrader. Its a decent price and seems to be in good condition. I know this is a can of worms but I think I am going to hold out for a Wake hull. That SS is on the diamond hull. Also, I personally wouldn't be able to run that tower...

Keep them coming though! I comb Craigslist, Boattrader, e-bay and onlyinboards about everyday so hopefully I won't miss anything good.

PS, the only boat on the diamond hull I'd consider is mainekneeboarders!

I know this is a can of worms but I think I am going to hold out for a Wake hull. That SS is on the diamond hull.

#1: It is a can of worms and will make just as good of a wake, but whatever. Because....

#2: A '99 Sunsetter VLX is on a wake hull. Only the '01 is on a diamond hull.

I think he is talking about the V25 but if not this may help you out. The SV23 is a great hull I didn't understand the need for the V25 if you are on a budget.

What do you guys think I'll have into another board rack for the other side and a decent set of tower speakers. That is going to factor into my offering price. This thing is still really far away so I'm going to have to buy it right...

Personally, I like those colors. I didn't see the details as far as hours and cost, but it just looks like a very nice boat.

On the other hand, ha, you have a long time till next summer, so I'd add it to a favorites list and keep looking. And like we've always said here, you really should test drive/ski a boat your interested in.

I have a pair of speakers for $200 haha, and I'd say if you want to, wait till a demo pair of SXT65's come up. We got a pair of racks for that tower for $400, not too bad.

So maybe $1,000 total estimate? $400 for speakers if you go SXT, and $200 for a rack and $400 for an amp.....

That's not too bad, I am thinking about offering 18, that would give me 2G's to do PP and set the tower up the way I'd like. That pretty much finishes my wish list and keeps me at that 20K number. The only other project I'd have to tackle is ballast install. I'm thinking coming from the Skier throwing my 500lb V drive sacs in that boat will be plenty for now...

I don't remember and the CL add has expired. I thought it did but I can't pick it out on the dash pic. I just e-mailed the guy to get the details again.

OK, Its a 2000 Wakesetter VLX, it has 480 hours and has PP and some sort of ballast system (details pending) the guy is asking 21K for it. It is in GA which is a LONG way away but this thing is a strong option right now. I am waiting on the details of the ballast system but I am thinking about making an offer! Sound like a decent deal?
