adding balast on 2000 sunsetter LXI

need some feed back help on adding balast on my LXI. after reading lot on the forum , I have decided to install 750 LB in the rear trunk and 250 LB ln front ski locker.

first question is since the rear bag is over the gas tank, is there possiblity of damage to the gas tank in long term. on plumbing, I am thinking of using 2 pumps but where

would you mount the water pick up. I am not real clear on pick up and drain lines. if you use reversable pump , do you fill and drain on same line and just vent on top

of the bag or do you still use vent line as drain line also. thanks in advance for any feedback

John thanks for the link to msuwaterski's post, it was a great help. I have removed the floor before and it was a pain ,so thinking that weight spread over the entire area would be ok but

after looking at this post , I will re-enforce the floor area for the bag install. like to thank msuwaterski for posting his good work. what is advantage of floater over regular wedge??

When I had a sunsetter I replaced the rear seat with a ballast couch (I have it for sale). Wake was awesome for a direct drive

is your ballast couch still for sale? I am adding ballast to my 2000 lxi and am looking for one.
