Wakesurfer recommendation?

Hi all - new to wakesurfing, but am pulling the trigger on an LSV with max ballast & PnP & surfgate. I'm 190#, above average athleticism. Just wondering what folks think the best board for the surfgate might be.

I'm sure this is subjective, so go ahead and be subjective!

This is a great surf board I have never had anyone say they didn't like riding it. The board is good for 200+ so I use this board for all the new bees. By the end of the day I have never had anyone I didn't have riding with no hands on this board. The main reason I bought this board is the material it is made of it want damage easy.(dings)

This is the next level surf board The first board is a Cadillac this board is a Porsche lot more fun but you have to learn to drive it. I love riding both but they are to different worlds and two different style. again this board is hard to dig. The only thing I will say bad about this board is it is to wide to fit in my Samson racks.

I keep talking about the digs because to me surf board are like boats the first one needs to be a learner boat. New people will hit the board on things till they learn how to take care of them. Some boards dig really easy.

I did my home work and this is the board I went with. Still learning to ride it I have a friend that rides very very good and he says it is a great board. Like I said I am still learning to ride it. I can tell you this all these boards are fast.

This is my second pick on the skim style board.

That was my 2 cents now this is everyone else. LOL

Good luck.

Depends on the riding you want to do. Surf or skim. I have the triple x slasher 5'0" and I love it. But it is definitely surf style for speed, whips, air etc. fins are a little long for spins. If there is a holy grail board out there that is great for both I haven't seen it. I am 5-10 and 190
