On the weekend alarm started beeping didnt know how to stop it so cut wire to alarm.... Dash came up BAD when starting motor, now comes up BATT... anyone had this problem or have any ideas how to rectify.

Check your battery voltage- that alarm sounds like it's trying to tell you the battery/alternator isn't producing the threshold voltage. I had this happen a few years ago and it turned out to be the Positive battery wire, ~8 gage that is terminated at the fuse block by the drivers right leg. Pull the screws that hold the fuse block plate out and check the stud that the big red wire is connected to.
