End of season blues?

Gotta pull the boat in a week or so. It's been my best boating year. Not the most skiing, but funnest, most relaxed ever. Kept the boat in the water. Ran flawlessly, didn't even take on ONE drop of water.

It's going to be hard to let go. You guy's too?

To the point, I wonder really how difficult it would be to move where I could boat like this year round.

Hope it's been a great season for everyone, reality setting in?

Yup, heading out for one more outing tomorrow and the boat will go into storage sometime next week. Weather getting cooler for sure with high in the 60s.

That being, said it has been an amazing 1st summer with my malibu and looking forward to more fun times next season.

Now just need to get through the shoulder season until the snow falls and the winter sports start.

Best year for me to and just think my little girl is only 2 years old. I'm already thinking about getting a 2013 VLX with surfgate in about 2020 my little girl will only be about 10 and my new one on the way will be 7. Good year and good times ahead. (But I still have 2 months of riding left.)

Every year it hits me differently. Had a great season on the water. Yesterday i emailed about putting the boat in for storage ... so that'll happened w/in the month ... so I'll get out a few more times. Between the blessed hot steamy summer and a lot of consulting I'm way behind on things to do around the house - enjoying the cooler weather and less bugs. So putting the boat away won't be all that bad ... at least for now.

I'm sure I'll be "jonesing" over winter.

We are taking her out today. Sadly, we haven't been able to get her out on the water since August 26th, due to vacation and being sick last weekend. Yesterday's weather sucked and todaywill be nice but only 60 as a high. Luckily we have a heater. I'm sure we will be out 1-2 more times after today, then time to winterize. It sucks. :(

We got out a lot this year, even with a now 5-month old daughter, who has probably been out 12-15 times now :), although I still don't get behind the boat as much as I'd like. I'm bummed thinking of putting the Bu up for winter because we're relocating for work next year (temporarily) and haven't figured out yet if the Bu will go with us. My 2-year old LOVES the water, had some nice long runs on the EZ-Skier this year (thanks to Augie), and I hate the thought of her missing a season behind the boat next year.

Well, we were out last week when the air temp was 80 and the water was 78, oh so nice! damn Canadians gave us a cold front, no more 80 days in site so I was going to winterize, but it is raining.

I have no problems between seasons because I will be surfing on the flowrider at Kalahari. I am actually looking forward to snowboarding this because last year was so bad!

So jealous!

We've put more hours on the boat in September than we did any other "summer" month besides maybe August. Lots of riding this time of year, and much better water. Spent all day on Lk Wa yesterday and had decent water until mid-afternoon, and just finished the day surfing.

Probably won't winterize til late October. The late summer is definitely spoiling us this year, water temps are still in the 70s

Had a good season tis year, got the boat out more than the past few. One more shot this weekend and because if schedule, she's gonna get winterized and put away in the next week or so.

Good year sad time.

Then, I get to break out the snow skis!

Well still cannot call it quits. Going tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. Wind is supposed to be 4mph so it should be real flat. Sticking to the 100 degree rule. Tomorrow 48 air hope water 60 at 7:00. Love this time of year with the colors changing as we ski up river. Hoping for 3 more weeks yet at skiing twice a week. Being optimistic that I have 6 more runs before year end.
