Re pitching a prop

Recommended Posts

I know some people have done this, If I send a prop to Acme and it has to be balanced and then pitched differently what kind of ball park price am I looking at? I have a couple 537's and would like to try in out with one of them.

  • More specificly I would be looking to go from the 537(16 pitch) to the 1579( with a 14.25 pitch)

A local shop can do this. At least mine can.

why not take 5 minutes and call ACME....then no WAG needed?? They will know exactly what can and can't be done to their props, cause the make em!! ANy questions I have had about props, they have always taken the time answer them..their customer service is excellent.

I don't know about ACME but OJ rebuilt my prop for less than the local shop including shipping. A call to ACME will solve the pricing mystery. Report back your findings...preferrably with pictures.
