Cruise-a-home boats

Is anyone familiar with these boats. I see a few of them on Craigslist on the California Delta for sale in the mid twenties. They are not made anymore but they look pretty bullet proof.

I spent lots of time during summers as a kid on a friends Boatel on the Fox River in Wi. Cruise a home looks great. With either I would probably need a new tow vehicle.

That Boatel looks a lot roomier. No way I could tow it, it would be water bound.

Toss in a couple of hemi engines and it would make a great slalom tractor ! ha. A couple people could snooze while you're going thru the course.

Anyway, ya, they look kinda fun. I'll bet some people have gutted them, then started over and updated them nicely ! LED lites, stereo, comfy, etc.
