Sacramento hotel on water?

The Embassy Suites in old town Sac is the only one I know of with an accessible boat dock. We stayed at Le Rivage (Scott's Seafood) a few weeks ago, very, very nice hotel, on the water, great service, and Scott's dinner was incredible. Unfortunately the Le Rivage dock is not open. I heard that there was no wheel chair access, so they county will not let them use it, I also heard that there was a county dispute on which county the dock is in (tax reasons). Either way Le Rivage is not accessible by boat at this time, but worth staying there if you can.

Where are you leaving from? And how fast do you cruise. We left from Disco Bay on a 32' Formula, cruising at 40-50 mph (made one quick stop at tower park) I think it took us around 3 to 3:30 hours. I also think you can cut some time if the Lockee Lock is open and if you can fit under it if it is open.

If you do make it up there, we always loved eating at the Virgin Sturgeon for dinner, and Swabies during lunch or breakfast.
