Bimini Options

We are looking to purchase a bimini top for our RLXI. For looking at infomation on this board, it sounds like Johnson Bimini's are a good option. My question is whether it is worth the cost to upgrade from the standard tubing and fittings to stainless steel. Just to upgrade to stainless fittings is an additional $150 and for both stainless tubing and fittings is another $530 over the standard material.

Looking for what others have done in regard to the material for the tubing and fittings. Any input would be appreciated.

I have the standard aluminum frame for mine and am happy with it. I too considered the SS frame and hardware. My thought was I would spend the $$ on boat gas and we get a lot more fun per $ spent.
