Straight Fins

Hi Everybody, I need a little help while boat shopping. I was looking at a Response LX today and got to looking under it and saw that the middle fin kind of pokes out to the right. So here are my insanely naive questions.

They're all supposed to be straight down right?

Is this an expensive fix?

Thanks for any input. I would also love to hear anything that any of you might say on other things I should look for.

Yes. All the fins are supposed to be straight. I would crawl under and check the gel coat around the fin and make sure there isn't any hull damage around the fin. If the gel coat is alright, the fin can be replaced or removed and straightened without too much trouble.

Yeah, that looks like a bent fin to me. I've never personally inspected the fins on a Response so it would be good to hear from a Response owner, but my Sunsetter fins are not curved or bent like that.

Thanks tons everybody. Seriously, sometimes the activity and people on this forum leads me to what some would call an irrational bias toward buying a malibu over other boat brands. You guys are awesome.
