Ballast pump wiring problem 2004 VLX Mid fill

04 VLX WINDERMERE UK

Recommended Posts

Hi while filling the middle tank heard a noise from pump like something was caught in it. stopped the pump but would not restart. had the head off the pump nothing fouling it, put 12 volt on and pump runs fine, checked and there is no power to the pump, light on switch lights up and drain pump runs so started tracing wires back. the fill pump wire is brown with blue stripe and i can follow it back to the dash but it seams to pass the dash and head under the floor. on the switch it seams to be the bottom wire that is live when the switch is in the fill position, this wire which is blue again goes under the floor by the drivers feet.

does anyone know where and what these wires go to please?

Hi

Spent some more time on this to find like an idiot I had been looking at the wrong pump, had assumed the toward of the two pumps on the left side would fill the tank but it is the single pump on the right. Turns out it is the pump that has had it, so will order a new cartridge from bakes.
