Off Season Storage - Unit w/out Concrete Bottom

Recommended Posts

Murphy8166

Having to put the boat up a little early this year due to a family expansion coming October 1.

I have always stored the boat in a fully enclosed storage unit with concrete bottom. This year I will be doing a fully enclosed unit with a rock bottom. This concerns me a little bit in the area of wear on the tires.

I was thinking about getting some 2"x12"s and putting them under the during the backing in process.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Weight off the tires and axle is not bad. You may want to add something for moisture.

yeah - I was thinking about throwing some jack stand on the axles to give the tires some relief.

What do you use for moisture....I usually will throw a box fan underneath the cover.
