2001 malibu sunkicker slugish at 25 30 mph backfires, very weak out of hole, stalls just out of neutral, changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor , carburaor proff.cleaned out, cant figure this out please help

I have the same boat with 310HP carb. Can you give us some history on the boat? Has it been sitting for awhile or is it new to you? Did it run great all summer until now?

have had it for 11 years bought in new no issues untill now basic wear and tear new england boat seasons in water about five months winterize according to indmar owners manual saw these symptoms end of last season hasbeen running rough backfiring since second week in water boat is in use on weekends stays in water for week under a car port
