Anchor storage- vlx

I have a 2012 vlx with front ballast. Where do you store your anchor? On my past boats I had room under the front seats but with the ballast I don't have that option

This depends on what type of anchor you have. When I did not have extra balllast bags in the back compartments on the LSV, I had the fluke style anchor I would stow there and tie off to the back of the boat when in use. Since adding ballasts, I can no longer store it in the back compartments so I got rid of the fluke style and got a box anchor. The box anchor folds up flat and has a storage bag, now I store it under the Port side under seat compartment. The box style works way better then the fluke for keeping the boat anchored and is much easier to handle and store.

I have a box anchor. I used to store it under the flip up seat on the port side; after adding a ballast bag under there for surfing I now store it under the observer seat. It is longer enough that it stick out just slightly into the observer compartment.
