Looking to buy '06 VLX

I'm tossing the idea around of buying a '06 wakesetter VLX. On some boats that are advertised with pictures it looks like the illusion tower is mounted closer to the back on some boats, and on others it looks like its mounted further forward just around half way up the gunnel???

Have I been looking at too many pictures and my eyes are gone or are they all mounted in same location??

are you sure you arent looking at pics of VTX vs VLX??

It's usually a few inches behind the rear of the windshield on the VLX..... nice blind spot for ya.

The VTX is a foot shorter than the VLX so it might appear to be closer to the rear of the boat..... which it is. But it's still a few inches behind the rear edge of the windshield.

I was thinking maybe guys are trying to pass off a VTX as a VLX, but on one of the boats there was a VLX stick on logo on the back corner.
