1992 Sunsetter Neutral Switch

1992 Sunsetter, I have to play with the neutral switch and throttle to get boat to start. Always starts when you play with the neutral switch and throttle. I think it is getting worse just needed to know if anyone has had this problem and how they may have fixed the problem. Thanks

My 92 ocassionally will not crank if the throttle came from forward to neutral position. I pull throttle back into REVERSE and then back into NEUTRAL - turn the key and the engine cranks and starts. I think my problem is wear in the throttle lever assembly.
