Back corner vents

Is there any way you could add those to a boat without them(Vride)? I just want to add a little bling to it. It doesn't have to be the 21 ones it could be the ones from 06 and older. I think they are called stainless steel vent corners, anyone know where to get them besides dealer?

Probably Dealer. Had to replace one of mine and had to order from the factory. Took a few weeks for them to fabricate it.

You may be able to get them; the only problem I could see is that they are recessed/inlaid in the design of the fiberglass.

Saw that, would be hard, maybe dealer could do it. SkiingPT, how much did it cost(if you don't mind telling)?

I can say for sure that laying them on top without having them recessed you will forever be catching stuff on that point that is on the side of the boat pointing forward.

WS, the vents screws on mine are drilled all of the way through. If you go that route you will also need to get a "good" double faced tape to help keep the edges adhered to the glass. On mine the radius of the corner plus the stiffness of the SS vents makes it hard to get a duplicate radius of the vent to match the hull and I had gaps until I redid the factories poor installation. The new tape helps it sit flush and look better and as srintx said the numbers will catch on a cloth and bend.

for the tape... 3m vhb would most likely be your best bet. that stuff has amazing holding force (they use it to hold up aluminum panels on skyscrapers)

The 3M is what I used and they are proud of when it comes time to pay.

yeah. not cheap. i used it (along with a few screws) to hold on the hinges for my 3 piece sunpad mod. i believe i calculated the holding force to be around 2k lbs

mine have two screws holding them in, and like others have said the end points will stick out a bit and can catch on clothes, ropes, waxing cloth, etc.

They are pretty nice. Maybe you could round off the end points a little before installing and that might reduce stuff catching on them.

Thanks! Assuming u can get some, I will put tape where they will go, stick them on, then drill all the way. Sound good? Also, about how much do they cost?
