engine guage no working

Recommended Posts

I have 04 23' LSV. fired up boat this am and no charging indication, no oil presssure, no water temp, can't remember what 4 indication is. It worked last week. It looks like power goes to guage, cause when you turn key on first click the needled vibrate tiny bit. Also on the Speedo guage the digital read out says, " no Data indication" or something like that. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

one potential problem area is a harness connection that routes signals from the helm to the engine.

that connector can work loose or a bit of corrosion can make it fail.

it is located near the ecm (top back of engine).

i suggest that you disconnect the battery before toying with it.

all your engine outputs go from your Engine Computer to your MMDC (Gauge Computer) Your MMDC is mounted under your dash and is about 1 inch thick x 7inches x 5 inches. This runs all your gauges, and your digital readouts (water temp/air temp/ect)

Bakes sells them for about $400
