Flush fuel vent

How did you hole saw an existing hole? Super steady hands?

I drilled a hole saw into a piece of wood, then I used that to plug the existing hole. then after the glue dried I could use the bigger hole saw to make the bigger hole with no fear of screwing the gelcoat up. I was not going to risk a steady hand on this one. Check out the seat raise I just finished, Pete.

Yup did this last year, best thing to save a ski line!

Just wondering, did you have to lengthen the vent hose, and did you point the elbow up?

I didn't lengthen the hose, the original was straight. So there was plenty of hose left over to point the 90 up at a 45 degree. It would be best to put a loop in the hose to help prevent water to get into the tank. I would have, but I don't have enought room in the gunnel for it to work.
