Stuffing box

have a 2003 LSV and am wondering if there is a grease nipple on the box cant seem to locate one boat is vibrating on acceleration and prop seems fine.... Trying to narrow down problem.

Stuffing is water lubricated.

It will either be a stuffing box & leak rate is controlled by the pressure of the large packing nut. There are lots of threads on them out here right now.

I wouldn't think the stuffing box is the problem. Sometimes, depending on the rudder postion and amount of throttle you'll get a literal boat load of vibration. I believe this is normal I've experienced it on every inboard I've owned.

Even though the prop looks fine, I would take it in and have it looked at. Any slight inbalance will cause the vibration. It is not something you want to mess with as it can cause other issues.
