Bunk settings on Shore Station for 20ft LSV

Recommended Posts

Just purchased our first inboard - 20ft Sunscape LSV! Looking for information on bunk settings for our ShoreStation lift we are having delivered this week. I have heard 30" - does this sound right?

Thanks - looking forward to getting on the water this weekend with the new boat.

I would recommend measuring the bunk spacing on the trailer and reproduce those. Be careful to have enough vertical clearance below, so that you can't accidentally hit the prop on the lift carriage.

I matched the spacing of the inner trailer bunks. 30" sounds about right but its a simple measurement. First time on we used the outer bunk spacing but found the paddle wheel would touch if the boat driffted sideways. Height was the hardest to measure....for us it wasn't about tring to get the prop to clear (that's just a matter of ensuring you don't drive on too far) but rather making sure the tracking fins clear the cross members.

Measure up your trailer.....that's where you want to start.
