calibrating speedometer and perfect pass

Recommended Posts

Ok, I just bought an 05 wakesetter xti. Today was the first day out. While pulling a slolom skier, we quickly realized that the speedometer is off. I have a gps app on my phone and is said that I was going 13 mph faster than the speedometer and the perfect pass said the boat was going. How do you calibrate the speedometer?

Also, the rpm gauge is not working. Is there a fix for that, or does the gauge need replaced? Is that part of perfect pass?

switch on the dash is used for speedo cal.. make the speed match the gps.

tach on the combined perfect pass digital pro is a common problem.

take it apart and clean the corrosion up and it will work swell.

search for threads discussing same.
