Option for piggyback drain pump integration?

Hey all,

I'm installing a piggyback set up on my VTX but don't want to add a non-factory switch for the extra drain pump. I'd really like to integrate it in a way that I can control the added drain pump from my MTS Launch screen. My boat does not have the factory bow ballast but the MTS screen still has the icon for the bow tank. Has anyone used the bow drain pump output on the MTS control board to operate the new piggyback drain pump? I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work and that would allow me to control all drain functions from the factory screen.

Thx for any input,

Tim

Just splice into your MLS drain pump on that side, replace the 5 amp fuse with a 7.5 amp fuse in the medallion box. Done. That's what I did, have never had an issue. You'll have to manually turn the drain pump on as if you use the presets the pump will turn off early as it's detecting level in the rear mls tank.

+1 he said it all. I didn't do 7.5 I just went 10 amp circuit breaker, but either way this is how it's done. Super easy. Super integrated when done.
