Which Rashguard?

Im looking to buy a rashguard to keep me a bit warmer for early morning sets and coldish water when its not so cold for my steamer.Looking at the Oneill Thermo X LS 13 oz or Oneill Thermo LS 8 oz,are these good do I need the 13 oz?

Rashguards don't really keep you warm. What you need is a springsuit or wetsuit top. Check the big mfgs. ie: O'neil, RipCurl, etc.

rash gaurds in general dont keep you much warmer, just prevent, well rashes. I wear one under my spring suit. But you can get a neotop, that might keep you warm a little better.

They don't really provide any warmth, but I will wear one under my life jacket for early morning runs just so I don't get goose bumps on my arms

You can get a 1mm surf shirt that will keep you warmer than a rash gaurd, but less than a wetsuit.

I have a full wet suit thats short sleve but with a long sleve top. The top is 2mm and I will wear that in the spring cause I have plent of insulation (hair) on my legs to keep those warm with just board shorts

I have several of these. The "Thermolite" ones work to keep you a little warmer. Plus, they fit like a regular t-shirt not some skin tight, pretty boy, neon pink rash guard.
